
DOMEFEST 09 PUBLIC SHOWS: SUNDAY (9/27)
DomeFest 2009 includes showings for the general public of several works that will be discussed during the conference program. All public shows will be held at the NM Museum of Natural History and Science. Tickets run: $7 (General Public); $6 (Seniors and Museum Members); $4 (kids 3-12)
“Fragile Planet” reveals how special our planet really is by taking visitors on a 30-minute round trip to the outer reaches of the universe. Narrated by Sigourney Weaver and interwoven with talks by a live presenter, Fragile Planet takes its audience from the planetarium and through the atmosphere to provide an astronaut’s view of Earth, our Moon, then Mars and beyond to search for habitats that might host extraterrestrial life."
